I have a photo in the VisArts exhibit that is opening tonight! I will post a link to my photo since it has some partial nudity and I know some people read this from work. Just click here to see it! If you happen to be in the Rockville Town Center between now and March 27th and want to stop by, the Visarts building is on the corner of Gibbs and Beall, the gallery is on the second floor and there’s also a great gift shop. I’m looking forward to a couple of kid-free hours tonight, yay!
Update!!!! We had a great time last night and I was honored that my photo was chosen as one of the top 10! There were so many brilliant photos and it was incredible to walk around the gallery and take in each one. Some other details: Points of Departure was jurored by some amazing photographers, all Canon Explorers of Light, including Steve Inglima, Clay Blackmore, Gregory Heisler, Eddie Tapp and Joyce Tenneson. Clay Blackmore gave some awesome remarks about the exhibit as a whole and about several of the individual photographs and you could just feel his energy and dedication to this exhibition! There were 743 photos submitted and 53 selected for the gallery. Here are some pics from last night!
(all iPhone pics, the processing/border is from the shakeItPhoto app)
